8:30 AM: We will rendezvous at the East Gate Shopping Plaza parking lot to check in and create a group text for communication throughout the day (Please make arrangements in advance if you plan to car pool).

9:00 AM: Drive to Historic Washington State Park Visitor Center at 103 Franklin St, Washington, AR.

11:00 AM: Tour the park and meet up at 12:30 for lunch at Williams Tavern.

2:00-5:00 PM: Head to Hope for the 50th Annual Watermelon Festival with an optional stop on the way to tour President Clinton's Birthplace (117 Hervey St, Hope, AR)

5:00 PM: Day trippers will want to head back to Hot Springs Village.  If you are planning to stay overnight, please make your own hotel reservations ASAP.

6:00 PM: Gates open for Gretchen Wilson concert @ Hope Fair Park.  You will need to purchase online general admission tickets for $25 in advance or $30 day-of-show.  Reserved seating is $45.
