Join us Tuesday, Jul 7th at 8 am for a hike along a west section of the Hernando Trail. We decided to start earlier when it is cooler.
We will meet in the parking lot ~100 yards west of Cortez road (past the Good Samaritan) off of Desoto Blvd. There is a sign on Desoto directing you where to park for the trail. We will hike west from this lot as this will avoid most of the hills.
We will walk for about 1 hour along this trail. As this trail is not a loop, we will walk west, turn around and walk back. You can choose your own distance.
Map of the trail can be found at:

We will meet in the parking area by Grove Park. We will head east from there as the trail is mostly level.
We will walk for a total of 2 - 3 miles along this trail. As this trail is not a loop, we will walk east, turn around and walk back. Our hikes are easy to moderate, and our pace is casual.
